The temple attracted pilgrims and worshippers from far and wide, who came to offer sacrifices and make offerings to the goddess.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<strong>Artemis <\/strong>was one of the most important deities in the <strong>Greek pantheon<\/strong> and her worship was particularly prominent in the ancient city of <strong>Ephesus.<\/strong> <strong>The Temple of Artemis<\/strong> in Ephesus was one of the largest and most impressive temples in the ancient world, measuring 425 feet long and 220 feet wide.
